A note from the founder

I was the front desk, the night manager, and the maintenance guy.
This is what I built to get my life back.

AutoStay 360 wasn't built by a software company that studied hotels. It was built by a hotel operator who lived every 2am wake-up call, every missed dinner with his kids — and finally automated the parts that were eating his life, without blowing up the business to do it.

The founder, before all this.

I run a boutique independent hotel. Not a chain, not a portfolio — one property, and me wearing every hat it needs. Front desk. Overnight shifts. Maintenance. Guest complaints. Staff scheduling. Payroll. Regulations. All of it.

Somewhere in there, the business started running me instead of the other way around. My health took the hit first. Then my hobbies disappeared. Then the hours I used to spend with my loved ones. I told myself it was temporary — every owner-operator tells themselves that.

Then COVID happened, and “temporary” became survival. Travel dried up, revenue disappeared, and the same business that had already taken everything I had now needed me to find a way to do more with less, or not make it at all.

So I went looking for help. I figured someone must have already solved this. What I found was two kinds of nothing.

The first kind was built for hotels that aren't mine — big-budget platforms with implementation teams and months-long migrations, priced for a 300-room property with a corporate parent, not a 20-room independent running on thin margins and thinner time.

The second kind was the opposite problem — generic chatbots and check-in widgets clearly not built by anyone who understood how a hotel actually runs. Or companies that wanted me to first replace my existing Property Management System with theirs. Rip out the system I'd chosen, priced for my budget, that I'd already learned inside and out.

I didn't have that kind of time. I was running a live hotel. Guests don't wait for a software migration. So I built it myself.

It worked. My hotel runs today with a fraction of the staffing and cost it used to need — not because I replaced my team with robots, but because the parts of the job that were eating me alive finally got handled by something that could actually handle them. What's left is the part of this business I actually wanted to do.

That's AutoStay 360. It's not a pitch deck idea. It's what got my life back — and I think it can do the same for you.

What it actually does

01

It works with what you already have

You don't need to switch your PMS. I didn't want to switch mine either — it was priced for my budget, and I already knew it inside and out. AutoStay 360 connects to what you're already running, even if it's not on anyone's “supported integrations” list.

02

It answers the questions you used to answer

Wifi password, parking, early checkin, where's a good place to eat — guests ask the same handful of things, at every hour. AutoStay 360's AI handles that conversation, and only wakes up you or your staff when it's something that actually needs a person.

03

It doesn't fall over when your internet does

Internet is not always reliable. Locks and guest access keep working locally, even during a network interruption — because I got tired of “the wifi's down” meaning “nobody can check in.”

04

You go at your own pace

Start with the parts that give you your evenings back. Add the rest when you're ready — room by room, never disrupting a guest mid-stay.

Why not use existing software from traditional hotel IT companies?

Because most traditional hotel software wasn’t built for an owner-operator.

It was designed for larger properties with dedicated managers, IT teams, formal processes, and budgets that can absorb expensive hardware changes and complex implementations. Smaller independent hotels operate differently: the owner is often the decision-maker, the implementer, the problem-solver, and the person guests call when something goes wrong.

AutoStay 360 brings the same kind of guest experience and operational automation larger hotels can offer—without the complexity, resources, or budget those systems assume you have. And you are not settling for a smaller version of what chains use. Independent operators can often move faster: adapting to guest preferences, changing costs, and new ways of operating without waiting for layers of approvals or enterprise-wide rollouts.

The advantage is not just keeping up. It is having the flexibility to outperform larger, less nimble hotels.

You don't have to keep drowning to keep the doors open.

I know what 6am after a 2am guest lockout feels like. I built this so it doesn't have to feel like that anymore — for me, or for you.
